RWA Board of Directors

Member agencies of the Regional Water Authority are each afforded the opportunity to appoint two representatives to the Board of Directors, either of whom may cast a single vote on behalf of their agency. To facilitate effective communications and decision-making, RWA members are encouraged to appoint one representative from their elected governing body and one representative from executive staff.

RWA Executive Committee

The RWA Board of Directors has established a nine-member Executive Committee to coordinate and monitor the activities of RWA staff, review and approve routine business decisions, and serve as a sounding board for ideas on behalf of the Board of Directors. Executive Committee members are elected by the Board in January, and serve a 12-month term. Executive Committee meetings are held monthly, beginning at 1:30 pm on the fourth Tuesday, at the RWA Board room.

RWA Associates

In 2003, the Regional Water Authority (RWA) established an “RWA Associate” class of membership to include public and/or private entities that are not water utilities in this region but have an interest in regional water matters. Associate members do not hold a seat on the RWA Board but are afforded the opportunity to participate in regional water policy discussions, participate in RWA programs/partnerships, and receive other benefits of RWA membership.
